Angel 4+ sterling silver charm

Angel 4+ is extended with a beautiful green Serpentine or Picasso Jaspis stone bead. Fascinated by the idea of historical angels, this collection came to fruition. What do angels, ‘spiritual living beings’, look like? This question was going through my mind. Combining nature and fantasy is how I created 5 angels from star anise.

This necklace charm was made with silver clay. Silver clay is made from recycled silver. Silver components from for instance electrical devices are reclaimed and re-used to create the clay. When fired, it becomes 99,9% solid silver so it can wear the 925 and sterling silver label.

This piece took around 3 hours to create. It is marked with a 925 hallmark and my maker’s mark by Edelmetaal Waarborg Nederland. This is the Assay Office EWN, Appointed by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy.
